We need to support our well-qualified Democratic candidates and help TURN IT BLUE! The time to get involved is NOW, when there is much work to be done!
Congratulations and appreciations to all of our fine candidates who ran for County elections, and State/Federal primaries. Welcome Sam McKenzie (D1) and Courtney Durrett (D2) , newly elected Knox County Commissioners!
Here are your final candidates for State & Federal Office: Please consider volunteering, phone banking, and/or donating.
[ No Democratic Candidates for D6, 8, & 9 Consider running next time as no GOP should run unopposed. Meanwhile, volunteer. ]
*(Additional candidates to be posted as they officially announce)
2018: A year for change in National Politics
More US Representatives who reflected the composition of our country (women, people of color, diverse religions) took the challenge and won seats in the US House of Representatives. We worked hard in Knox County, Tennessee and gained a state representative (Gloria Johnson) and re-elected Rick Staples to the Tennessee House.
Tennesseans are not being served by their local, state, and federal GOP representatives. It's time to seek good candidates who will serve their constituents and not party or big money marching orders.
